Early in the COVID-19 pandemic, we made the decision to be mindful about what we charged our clients, implementing pricing guidelines that outlined principles for pricing our services fairly and ethically.

Safe and Healthy Workplace

Cross Country Healthcare, Inc. aims to provide and maintain a safe and healthy working environment by eliminating hazards, reducing health and safety issues and raising awareness on health and safety risks related to our business activities. We abide by health and safety laws and regulations and work in consultation with our employees, by addressing and remediating identified risks of accidents, injury and health impacts.

Our comprehensive health and safety program goes beyond the workplace as we partner with employees to achieve both their physical and mental wellbeing. We endeavor to educate on health topics, create awareness, encourage, and facilitate health screening and offer a wealth of resources including support hotlines.

Cross Country Healthcare, Inc. remains vigilant of any natural disaster, wide spreading disease, hazard, or other disruption that could jeopardize the health and safety of its workforce. Workplace Security

We are committed to maintaining a workplace that is free from violence, harassment, intimidation and other unsafe or disruptive conditions due to internal and external threats. Security safeguards for employees are provided, as needed, and are maintained with respect for employee privacy and dignity.

Disclosure & Transparency

We are steadfast in the communication and disclosure of our environmental impact and engagement efforts. We firmly believe that ongoing measurement, assessment and transparency will lead to mitigation of our environmental impact. Our annual Corporate Social Responsibility Report, in alignment with the Global Reporting Initiative (GRI), discloses energy consumption and energy intensity, water withdrawal by source, indirect energy emissions, waste type and disposal method and compliance with environmental laws and regulations.

FAU Partnership and Scholarships

In 2019, Cross Country Healthcare and Florida Atlantic University’s Christine E. Lynn College of Nursing embarked on a partnership to pursue collaborative research, educational and training activities of mutual interest to advance the nursing profession. A key objective of the partnership is to jointly support nurses and their education through Florida Atlantic University (FAU) continuing educational programs, scholarships, internships, residency and research opportunities. Cross Country Healthcare has pledged to provide scholarships to nursing students annually.

Leukemia & Lymphoma Society Light the Night

Employees held a number of virtual fundraising events and activities such as virtual yoga, silent auction, trivia night, pet fashion show and sales of LLS merchandise on the company store website. Additionally, the Boca Raton office hosted several socially distanced local events at nearby restaurants or breweries, with a portion of sales from each event being donated. A total of $94,923 was raised.

Random Acts of Flowers

Employees shared a little love via candygrams with their peers and raised over $7,000 for Random Acts of Flowers, an organization which delivers recycled flowers to individuals in healthcare facilities across America, giving them a sense of encouragement, kindness and an overall improvement of emotional health.

Back to School Drives

Using a combination of virtual donation platforms and in-person drop boxes for school supplies, Cross Country employees contributed more than $1,000 toward two back-to-school charity initiatives, including the nationwide Kids in Need Foundation and the Education Foundation of Palm Beach County.

Breast Cancer Awareness

Employees were given the opportunity to compete for pink prizes with direct deductions from their paychecks. Their donations of $8,210 were matched by the company for a $16,000 total contribution to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation.

Spirit of Giving Holiday Gift Drive

Cross Country Healthcare partnered with Spirit of Giving for the second year in a row to help make holiday wishes come true for more than 5,000 children. Corporate employees sponsored individual children by donating new, unwrapped gift items in the Boca Raton office while remote employees were able to make a cash donation or gift purchase online.
